Transparent Pricing

The Right Price for Your Business

GoPayhawk offers five pricing models: flat rate, interchange-plus, surcharging, cash discounting, and dual pricing. Most merchants use interchange-plus for the lowest effective rate, or one of the three zero-fee models — surcharging, cash discounting, or dual pricing — to pass card processing costs to customers instead of absorbing them. The right model depends on your monthly volume, industry, and how you want to handle the cost of accepting cards.

Pricing FAQ

Interchange-plus pricing separates the cost your card network charges (interchange) from our margin. You see exactly what Visa, Mastercard, or Amex charges, plus a fixed GoPayhawk markup. It's the most transparent model available and typically the best value for merchants processing over $10,000/month.

No hidden fees — period. We disclose every fee upfront before you sign anything: transaction fees, monthly statement fees, PCI compliance fees, and equipment costs. We'll also review your current statement to flag any fees your current processor hasn't explained to you.

We offer month-to-month agreements with no early termination fees. We believe if we're doing our job, you won't want to leave. If your situation changes, you can cancel anytime without penalty.

Surcharging is legal in most U.S. states, subject to card network rules (capped at 3%, debit cards cannot be surcharged) and proper disclosure requirements. A small number of states have restrictions — our team will confirm compliance for your specific state before setup. We handle all compliance documentation and signage for you.

Most merchants are up and running within 24–48 hours of approval. We handle equipment setup, POS integration, and training. Your dedicated rep stays with you through every step of the transition.

We process all major card networks: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. We also support contactless payments (Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay), ACH bank transfers, and e-commerce card-not-present transactions.
