GoPayhawk's lineup includes the P1 countertop terminal, P5 and P12 mobile handhelds, P8 dual-screen terminal, and P18 full POS system with a customer-facing flip screen. All devices run Android, accept EMV chip, NFC contactless, and magnetic stripe, and arrive pre-programmed with your GoPayhawk pricing model before shipping.
All GoPayhawk hardware is purchased at a transparent price. There are no equipment leases. Leases obscure true hardware costs and often cost significantly more than the purchase price over the lease term. GoPayhawk charges purchase price only, with no lease obligations attached to your processing agreement.
Every terminal is programmed by GoPayhawk before it ships: your merchant account credentials, pricing model (interchange-plus, surcharging, cash discounting, or dual pricing), tip settings if applicable, and any software integrations you need. When the terminal arrives, you connect it to power and your network and begin taking payments. No additional configuration is required.
Yes. All GoPayhawk countertop and mobile terminals include NFC contactless capability, which means they accept Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay, and tap-to-pay from any contactless card. Contactless transactions are typically faster than chip insertions and carry the same liability protections for card-present transactions.
Contact GoPayhawk support and your account representative. Replacement terminals are programmed and shipped to you. GoPayhawk handles the reconfiguration so you do not need to program a new device yourself. For critical business interruptions, GoPayhawk can typically expedite hardware replacement.
It depends on your current software. GoPayhawk supports a range of gateway and POS integrations. If you use software that integrates with NMI, Authorize.Net, or another supported gateway, your existing workflow can often be preserved with new hardware. GoPayhawk's team reviews your current software setup as part of the onboarding process to confirm compatibility.
